Initial setup:
- Go to HR → Payroll Settings.
- Select your country — the system loads the relevant statutory deductions and tax tables.
- Enter your employer registration numbers for tax and social security (e.g. KRA Employer PIN and NHIF/NSSF numbers in Kenya).
- Configure your pay period (monthly) and pay date.
- Set up salary structures — define basic pay, allowances (housing, transport, etc.), and deductions.
Adding employees:
- Go to HR → Employees → Add Employee.
- Enter the employee's personal details, Tax ID, social security number, and bank account details.
- Assign a salary structure.
Running payroll:
- Go to HR → Payroll → Run Payroll.
- Select the pay period.
- Review the automatically calculated tax, social security, and net pay for each employee.
- Approve and process payroll.
- Generate statutory reports and schedules for submission to your country's authorities.
