Article 2.2: How to Connect Your Tax Authority in VumaERP Print

  • 0

VumaERP integrates directly with your country's tax authority so your invoices are automatically reported for compliance.

Supported tax authorities include:

  • Kenya — KRA eTIMS (electronic Tax Invoice Management System)
  • Ghana — GRA (Ghana Revenue Authority)
  • Rwanda — RRA (Rwanda Revenue Authority)
  • Uganda — URA (Uganda Revenue Authority)
  • Tanzania — TRA (Tanzania Revenue Authority)
  • Other countries are added regularly. Contact support for your specific country.

To connect your tax authority:

  1. Log in to VumaERP and go to Settings → Tax & Compliance.
  2. Select your country — the system will show the relevant tax authority integration.
  3. Enter your Tax ID (e.g. KRA PIN, GRA TIN, RRA TIN, URA TIN).
  4. Enter any additional credentials required by your tax authority (e.g. eTIMS Device Serial Number and API credentials for Kenya).
  5. Click Test Connection to verify the integration is working.
  6. Click Save.

Once connected, every invoice you create in VumaERP will automatically be submitted to your tax authority and receive a valid tax invoice number where applicable. You can view submission status on each invoice.

Troubleshooting:

  • If the connection test fails, verify your tax credentials are correct and active.
  • Ensure your Tax ID is registered and enabled for electronic invoicing with your tax authority.
  • Contact support@vumacloud.com if issues persist.
