You can restore files or databases from a backup yourself via cPanel, or request a restore through support.

Option A — Self-service restore via cPanel

  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. In the Files section, click Backups or Backup Wizard.
  3. To restore files: under Restore, select Home Directory, choose your backup file, and click Restore.
  4. To restore a database: under Restore, select MySQL Databases, choose the database backup file, and click Restore.

Option B — Request a restore via support ticket

If you need a restore to a specific date or need help with the process, open a support ticket and include:

  • Your domain name
  • The date and time you want to restore to
  • What you want restored: files, database, or both

Our team will confirm with you before making any changes to your live account.

Warning: A full restore overwrites your current files or database. If you are unsure, ask support to restore to a staging location first so you can verify the backup before replacing live data.
