VumaMail uses AutoDiscover/AutoConfigure, which means you do NOT need to enter server names, ports, or encryption settings manually. Simply add an Exchange account and your client configures itself.
Outlook (Desktop — Windows & Mac)
- Open Outlook → File → Add Account.
- Enter your full email address (e.g. you@yourcompany.com).
- Click Connect.
- Select Exchange if prompted for account type.
- Enter your password.
- AutoDiscover configures everything — incoming, outgoing, calendar, contacts, tasks.
- Click Done.
Important: Choose "Exchange" — not IMAP or POP3. This gives you the full experience with calendars, contacts, tasks, and shared folders.
iPhone / iPad
- Go to Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account → Microsoft Exchange.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
- Enter your password.
- AutoDiscover will detect the server automatically.
- Choose what to sync: Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes.
- Tap Save.
Android
- Go to Settings → Accounts → Add Account → Exchange.
- Enter your email and password.
- AutoDiscover handles the rest.
Thunderbird
- Open Thunderbird → Account Settings → Account Actions → Add Mail Account.
- Enter your name, email, and password.
- Thunderbird's AutoConfigure will detect the server settings automatically.
- Click Done.
