VumaERP includes full inventory and warehouse management.
Setting up inventory:
- Go to Inventory → Items → Add Item.
- Enter the item name, SKU, description, unit of measure, and selling price.
- Set opening stock quantities and cost prices.
- Assign the item to a warehouse if you have multiple locations.

- Stock levels update automatically when you create sales invoices or purchase orders.
- Low stock alerts notify you when items fall below your reorder threshold.
- Stock transfers let you move inventory between warehouses.
- Stock valuation supports FIFO, LIFO, and weighted average methods.
- Barcode scanning is supported for quick item lookup.
Tip: Use item categories and tags to organise your inventory. This makes reporting and searching much easier.
